I find it's really hard to share about chronic illness without either feeling hopeless or misunderstood. It becomes a real barrier to communicate; I think society is designed to keep it this way sometimes

For me, Details + Summary elements together with some CSS and bam you have a accordion pattern. No client side JS to download. Hugely useful.

#Lazyweb I am a bit of a cynic. I got given a Raspberry Pi, its awesome and I love the gift but I have had them before years ago and don't remember particular meaningful uses right now. Im trying to think of realistic projects that will help me with it, not just tinkering so much.
Right now I kind of have a small apartment and a single desk with three monitors, Ive already got a backup computer that I use for certain things.
TLDR; I have a lot of computer time already in my life

This has just been my experience but therapists have been absolutely terrible at understanding or relating to my online life. Its something that is made difficult by generational and cultural gaps ON TOP of all the stuff about therapy.
"I am in 15+ Slack groups..." *eyes glaze over, preparing to ask have you ever tried just not being in 15+ slack groups?*
"I am involved in two political organizations across two countries" *have you tried simply not being involved??* is the vibes I get.

Nearly ten years ago now I was hospitalized for having a bipolar manic episode. It was in a New Zealand public hospital where I was charged no fee, and allowed to stay until I confirmed new housing on exit.
I have been steadily employed and medicated for the vast majority of a decade since then. I felt like the state wanted me to succeed and I did.

@npub1vfq…57sa I have a mixture of advice. Use Netlify drag and drop just to launch it to test it, but keep it mostly in local development for a strong amount of time as beginner

In New Zealand I am not allowed to call myself a lawyer unless I have a current practicing certificate. I have a ceremonial moniker I can use for some non reserved areas of work.

I got curious to try Amazon Pharmacy for one of my cheap medications. I transferred my Rx and ordered it. Arrived... on time, in completely unnecessary refrigeration with ice packs around it and documentation in a ziplock bag.
I actually react to this with a significant amount of distrust somehow. I was skeptical of Amazon but thought Id give it a try and this unnecessary stuff just was like.a prime example of waste and problems with tech oriented gig replacements.
