...or at least about "ongoing experiments" on the moon. I'd like for those texts (and music) to be accompanied by original art. My first thought was something in black and white, but I'm open to ideas at this stage.

I am in the throes of finishing a new album, an album that originally supposed to be an album, but just "evolved" that way out of a series of noise & beat oriented experiments that just refused to keep growing.
In any case, I'd like to put together a booklet for this album. Eech piece of music is named for one of the moons of Neptune and will be accompanied by a short text concerning "life" on that moon....

I'm certainly not an expert, but I've used Scribus for booklets for my albums and it was quite easy to use and versitle (or versitile enough for my purposes).

I've only met Luka in person from the Mastodon universe. I should make more effort to meet more people instead of isolating myself in a dark room making MUSIC!

I don't really spend that much time randomly browsing the internet anymore. So perhaps that is why I don't stumble upon so much irritating stuff. I usually have something specific in mind when I search.
I never use Youtube. I don't use any social media except for mastodon and gemini-related things. I also have plenty of filters on Mastodon, so I hear you there.
Overall, however, you are basically right about everything. The irritation factor of the "general" internet is overwhelming.

I understand your point of view and I also agree that much of the problem can be traced directly back to "marketing".
Personally, I spend most of my "web time" on mastodon, gemini or researching specific things. I use the enshittified web less and less. Of course, from time to time it is necessary, but besides protonmail, I think I am doing ok.
