I always thought there's no way to follow up on the emotional rollercoaster that is the Chaconne, but I didn't want to put it last.
So I think I found something to pick up in the depths where the Chaconne left off -
The most humble Bach piece on the surface, a practise piece for children? A 3 part invention, yet András Schiff calls it
"maybe one of the greatest pieces by Bach, or anybody"!

@npub1sh4…32nx The ground is 0V by definiton.. The pin thoigh is switched on to 3.3V to trigger the timer, and then has to go back to the value.0V, and that happens more reliably if the pin is connected to the 0V line.

Listened to the #ISS school contact with colleagues and students using an RTL-SDR, what a nice experience, and some inspiring words from M. Dominick KC0TOR.
What I found very nice from a physics perspective is that the +3kHz... -3 kHz doppler shift from the movement of the ISS was clearly visible in the SDR waterfall.

Vinyl records... does anyone else think that the sound quality they deliver is absolutely crazy considering that it is a mechanical transmission using carved grooves.
I mean, on a really good turntable&system, a live recording can reveal subtle acoustics of the room, nuances of instruments and voices suspended in a stereo image with depth. From a little lever scratching through a groove. Incredible.
