Yeah, except none of that is true. An RTX 4060 can generate a Stable Diffusion XL image in 10 seconds.
A 4060 consumes 110 Watts. That's 1100 Joules. That's 0.0003055556 KWH.
The 1.35 kWh per 1000 number that is often (mis)quoted is for Multi-Modal models, which are rarely used just for generating images.
To be clear. It uses the same amount of energy to play a video game for one hour as it does to generate three hundred sixty images.

The Right of Publicity needs to be encoded into international and federal law.
It also needs to be pretty radically expanded. It should cover one's name as a trademark of association.
Naturally, it should not interfere with parody.
This is again an issue where AI is exposing a problem that's existed for a long time. For Example: a photographer can take a photograph of you in public, but if you post that picture (or even download it) you can be sued for copyright infringement.

The performance of LLMs is the log of their parameter size. The resource use is proportional to their parameter size.
The human brain is approximately equal to a 60 quintilion parameter model running at 80hz. It consumes the energy of a single lightbulb.
GPT-5 is likely a 1 trillion parameter model, and requires massive energy.
LLMs are amazing, but they're nowhere near approaching AGI.

The _current_ generation of AI models, transformers and diffusion models, are inherently and fundamentally incapable of art, writing, and acting no matter how much computing power is used.
There _could_ be newer kinds of AI models that enable this later, but I suspect that's substantially more than a year out.
You will, for sure, be able to make a coherent move directly from a script in 10 years, but it will be the movie equivalent of AI written articles.
That will be enough for some use cases, like employee compliance training videos. Definitely not sufficient for replacing actors.

AIs will be able to fill in as extras quite easily, for example. They fundamentally don't understand what they're doing, so yes...

That being said, yes. AIs will eventually be able to do everything.
