Monitor your external IP (how?).
If you have been given a new lease, connect to your registrars API and repoint your domain records.
Right? Am I missing anything? Am I doing this the hard way?
Edit: To clarify, the goal is to be as free as possible and rely on #bigtech as little as possible.
