Just thrilled to be watching the 1985 Monaco Grand Prix. It is amazing to see actual passes on track, and how much smaller these cars were compared to today's (admittedly safer) cars. This was F1 when I was a teenager and I loved it!

Another option is to just re-do the ML routines in BASIC. The ML is really short and just does 4 simple functions: print a line, get a char, show a file, and chat mode. I still worry that the basics (pardon the pun) like OPEN 5,2,0,CHR$(6) won't work on a PET at all...

Well, I finally did it! I built a VIC-20 Bulletin Board System in my garage and put it up on the Internet (the Live Wire BBS)! You can visit it by firing up your VIC-20 (with a WiFi Modem) and going to:
vic-bbs.com:6502
It's fairly complete at this point (only file transfers are missing) and I'll be improving it and updating it over the next several months.
Give it a try if you feel inclined! It will also work on a C64 or C128!
