I have seen a social media post of someone saying that he's 25, works 2 jobs and now needs to move back in with his parents because his health insurance is 250USD a month plus he has monthly ongoing costs of 500. im expecting America to have things like this as insurance too. But from at least the Americans I have spoken too, they would not have you keep your job if you are sick that long. Meanwhile here they aren't allowed to order you into work. And you can't be let go during sickness or with it as a reason. They can however visit your home or check your social media Actually. You don't have to let them in.
Also. It is 43 days. After that statutory insurance pays you.
