I happened upon a discussion yesterday about mandatory masking at PyCon.
I found it both enlightening and angering. I took notes but decided to sleep on it before I wrote anything.
First off, you don’t need enemies with friends like this.
I found it angering because there are very few safe spaces for those who wish to avoid covid as much as possible and when a safe space is made, people come out to intentionally destroy it.

I need a chat with whoever planted the crab apple tree in our front yard.
The colour of the blooms match the leaves so you really can’t tell the tree is in bloom. Then it drops its petals and we drag them into the house on our shoes.
I love a good fruit tree but we have none of the beauty and all of the mess.

Wife took her mom for her Covid booster today. She said there were a lot of people hacking and coughing in the grocery store, and that the walk-in clinic had a long line and wasn’t open yet.
Her aunts bank rep called her back today after not getting a response for several days. He apologized, as he has been very ill the last few days.
Thankfully “respiratory virus season” is over.

Huh, yeah looks like they are only in Quebec and Ontario. They used to be A&P and Dominion here until Metro bought them.
Short of single store mom and pop operations there is nothing here but those three.
Use to have Longo’s and Farm Boy but those have been bought by Empire the last couple years.

When our daughter was born, it was over 24hr from when my wife’s water broke and contractions started to when she gave birth.
