Just so you know there's fan servers that run the gen 4 and 5 Mystery Gifts so you can get an HGSS Mew legitimately and easily now.
You can also get an Emerald Mew if you want to shiny hunt but it takes some extra set-up on your computer (though it still doesn't mess with game files).

This is a large part of why they push rap and hiphop beyond the cultural reasons. It's more or less impossible for record companies to make money now but they can at least cut production costs by having some nignog talk over a looped background track.
In addition to this, you've always had a push-pull between normgroid tastes and people who actually want something interesting. In the late 70s, you had New Wave and Punk (before it was totally gay) push back against the increasingly bland and implicitly black disco music. Black metal was like this too kinda. Today however I'm afraid that there's some serious structural issues that will make a repeat of this phenomenon harder. There are no irl "scenes" that people can really attend regularly and if there were the hall-monitors would be on them as soon as they got the ball rolling. Also most of the music blogs that made indie rock happen were either buck broken or died off in the mid 2010s. How do you recreate this in a more centralized internet, with a recording industry that knows they crushed a very White, independent music scene before?
tldr music is no longer profitable and we're dealing with the fallout from that.
P.S. The Beatles are categorically not a rock band.

Honestly this. I'm not sure if it says more about the industry or the GF defenders themselves but their argument is basically that Gamefreak somehow owns the rights to the entire concept of monster collecting games. Imagine if people wanted Capcom to sue NetherRealm Studio over Mortal Kombat because "You control martial artists and punch people! Just like in Street Fighter!"
Palworld could be a linear, turn based, monster collecting RPG and GF still wouldn't have grounds to sue.

Yes, BUT, you need to realize the modern game is very different than what you're probably used to. You also need to learn how to spend your gems. The game is extremely generous IF you avoid a couple newb traps. Here's a slightly NSFW starting guide from 4chan. I recommend playing through a good portion of the Solo mode first just to get a feel for different deck types (and free gems and cards).

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Soyjak, is in fact Soy/Wojak, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Soy plus Wojak.
Soy is not a meme onto itself, but rather another free component of a fully memeable Wojak template made useful by mspaint, Pepe the frog, and autism comprising a full meme as defined by Soot.
Many meme users post a modified version of the Wojak meme every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of Wojak which is widely used today is often called "Soyjak", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the Wojak meme, developed by krautchan.
There really is a Soyjak, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the meme they use. Soy is the gem: the autism in the meme that allocates the memer's 'jaks to the other memes that you post. The autism is an essential part of a meme, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete meme template. Soyjak is normally used in combination with the Wojak meme: the whole system is basically Wojak with Soy added, or Soy/Wojak. All the so-called "Soyjak" distributions are really distributions of Soy/Wojak.

Gatekeeping. The main reason is industry and community-wide gatekeeping, combined with a concerted effort by the new left to get their guys into such industries and a neocon effort (in the US anyway) to discourage right wingers from such pursuits.
Not saying you're doing this here but I hate seeing our guys buy into the "they're naturally more creative because reasons" line when it was only ever a poor attempt to cover up the above. I mean, just look at the state of modern media in America. Is this the result of people who are "automatically the best at art because they just are OK!?"?
