Instead Denmark gives a yearly grant of 620 million dollars to the 57,000 Greenlanders, which is spent on everything in the Greenland budget including having free healthcare, free access to universities in Denmark AND a well functioning police force.

Multiple pictures shared on Telegram appears to show another Russian war crime.
What looks like a Ukrainian soldier is lying dead in the street, his chest stabbed with a 1 meter long sword. On the blade of the sword, someone has written the Russian words "За Курск", which means "For Kursk", as if this violent death is revenge for the Kursk invasion.

I live in Denmark, and we already have digital driver's licenses, but I am really ambivalent about this development.
Having it on your phone: Very convenient.
Having to unlock your phone and handing your phone *unlocked* to a police officer: Dystopian.

Whenever I listen to the problems Trump has caused, I think back at conversation I had with a US voter at a dinner party in 2016.
Considering him an intelligent person, I asked him how Trump could have so much success, when it was so obvious that he was a conman.

The reason Ukraine is running out of artillery shells and other critically important supplies is, Speaker Mike Johnson in his clean suit on the left thinks, the weapons support to the Ukrainian soldier on the right can wait.
So Mike Johnson is now going home to celebrate Christmas with his family, while this soldier is trying to fight the Russian invasion with even less weapons.

This is the worst news I have read in months. Senate minority leader McConnell (R) is now fully behind Speaker Johnson's strategy of denying aid to Ukraine.
Republicans claim they want border control in exchange for stopping Putin, but that part is all smoke and mirrors.
There is no way Republicans would want to make Biden the president who solved the border issues in an election year.
This is pure sabotage, and Europe needs to accept, we can no longer count on the US because of Republicans.

One of the most insane stories, 2023 will be remembered for, is US senator Tommy Tuberville, who was so angry with the army allowing female employees to have abortions, he held back promotions in the army for 10 months, affecting 451 military officers.
The next time he runs for the senate, I hope somehow will provide him with campaign posters saying, "Let's destroy our military, because I think God told me to."

@npub105v…hk8p I do not see a conflict between your point and mine. The reason Ukraine is now filled with mines is, we kept delaying the deliveries, giving Russians time to dig in.
Those 31 Abrams tanks which just arrived should have arrived a year ago. Similarly with ATACMS, Taurus, F-16's, and so on.
All that time politicians said, "No, no… we can't deliver that — that would be an escalation", then they waited a year, and suddenly it is not an escalation anymore.
Dishonesty is what it is.

However, Israeli forces' decision to level the Al-Watan office building in Gaza, home to several international media outlets, is a war crime.

Last night, Ukraine carried out the largest drone attack in Russia so far:
Ukraine bombed the Pskov airfield near the Estonian border, where multiple transport planes and bombers were destroyed.
A micro chip factory in Bryansk was bombed.
An explosion was seen in Tula, where the airport was subsequently closed.
In Kaluga an oil storage facility was hit.
A large explosion was heard in Ryazan. I have seen no confirmation of effectiveness.
A large number of drones hit central Moscow.

In an interview, Zelenskyy said Ukraine would lose its allies, if #Ukraine moved the war to Russia.
In essence, western politicians have created a fight, where Putin can kill everyone and destroy everything anywhere in Ukraine, and when it suits him, he can pull his troops back to Russia for a breather, before they return to rape and plunder some more.
This is what fear has done to the west: We have now accepted the rules set by a war criminal.

Rest in peace Andriy Pilschikov (40th Tactical Aviation Brigade) and his fellow pilots who died in Zhytomyr yesterday.
Apart from his duties as a pilot, Andriy Pilschikov played an important role in Ukraine’s public relations efforts to improve weapons support for Ukraine. Jim Acosta interviewed him for CNN in 2022.
I feel terrible, Ukrainians die because western politicians still to this day are having prolonged debates on whether to send the weapons needed to end this war.

While I myself do not have any desire for offending any religion, I still find it absolutely insane, that a free country like Denmark should punish someone for protesting a religion, if that someone feels her religion has been abused to oppress people in another country.
And I strongly believe, caving in to threats from terrorists sets a seriously dangerous precedent for Denmark.

Congratulations to Iran and Al Qaeda. After threats of terror against Denmark, the Danish government today presented legislation which — if passed by parliament — will limit freedom of speech and punish “indecent behavior towards religious objects” with up to two years in prison.
Earlier this year, an Iranian woman set fire to the Quran in Copenhagen as a protest against the hideous Iranian regime which has committed a plethora of human rights violations.

This is how insane Russian state tv is. On a debate show, the host is trying to get the panel to agree, Russia should bomb everyone with nuclear weapons and attack Europe all the way to France.
Then participants remind him, if everything is bombed with nuclear weapons, then there is nothing left to occupy, and finally someone asks the obvious counter question: “Nuclear? Is our army unable to win with conventional weapons?” which is CLEARLY not welcomed by the host.

Today the Danish government has announced a press briefing at Skrydstrup Air Base at 15:00 local time.
Skrydstrup Air Base is the location were Ukrainian pilots are being trained on the F-16's.

For several days, Russia has blocked access to the port of Odessa by warning civilian ships, they will be attacked if entering Ukrainian seas.
On the 5th of August 2023, Ukraine's Ministry of Defence sent out the following message: "Two can play that game".
Striking a Russian oil tanker, Ukraine has shown, they mean business.
This could end up becoming a full blockade of Russia in The Black Sea.
Should that happen, leaving the grain deal will prove to be a huge mistake on Russia's part.

My Saturday was… shocking.
The weather was beautiful, and my neighborhood was buzzing with outdoor activities.
I could hear a neighbor I do not know very well using a machine, but then the noise stopped. I thought nothing of it until moments later when a medical helicopters was hanging right above me.
It turns out, my neighbor had died of a heart attack. One moment he was happily cutting the weeds, the next moment he was just gone — helicopter crew unable to save him.

Of the three large explosions in the area of the Kerch Strait Bridge, it is now known that one explosion was caused by a Ukrainian sea drone hitting the Russian oil tanker Sig.
This attack is quite significant because Russia said it would consider any ship supplying Ukraine a legitimate target, and Ukraine then said, they would consider Russian ships targets aswell.
Ukraine was successful, and Russia is now probably regretting declaring civilian ships legitimate targets.
