Throwing the expressed and polled opinions of your constituents under the bus will open the oil and banker wallets.Also the gun lobby, Cryptobros and other money launderers (NB: this does not include #PP; imagine being only a wanna-be cryptobro…) the coal backers, China, and Russia…
In short, it's a symptom, not an illness. It means polling indicates the public wants to get rid of Ford and his cronies. But big money will change that for him.

Well, no. It comes from General Revenue, which include export and import taxes and fees, and a wide swath of other sources. Including pumping oil and gas, shipping it via the governments pipelines to markets abroad.
And every other Crown Corporation, some of which are surprisingly profitable.
But shearing sheeple is a big chunk of it.

No. But it does to propagandists, who will repeat a single good act a thousand ways to suggest a thousand good acts, instead of just the one.
But do not assume that much money has been taken from the domestic and spent on the foreign politics.
But, also do not assume those many announcements of spending domestically are separate either.

But it is not easy, and it is another thing to maintain. @npub1agu…j0sk wrote an article a couple years ago about some of the issues as he saw them.

#CBC says the "glory days" of ad-free uninterrupted #streaming are gone.
No, no they are not.
I have ~800 #DVD/Blu-ray discs with digital backups on a #NAS. And I use #PeerTube (admittedly, mostly conference sessions.) I watch #podcasts which are not hosted on #surveillance economy sites. I listen to ad-free #audio streaming constantly.
What I DO NOT watch is CBC's streaming content, which were larded with #advertising, heavy surveillance. #Journalism #bias

Assuming your host is also your registrar, see what is involved to move your domain. As a security precaution, usually a domain is listed as not migratable, but as *you* own your domain you can change this.
But I do not know/use a Canadian registrar, so cannot advise.

#Environment and #ClimateChange #Canada relies on #data collected and reported by industry, and on studies primarily conducted industry. This is known to be inconsistent, for example A3.2.2.1.5 of the 2021 inventory.
Since we do not have independent measurement of activity, and Canada's #emissionsfactor s are largely written by industry, it is unlikely the inventory reflects "actual emissions".

@npub10fl…2xc7 And how will they measure this? AB, as you may remember, disabled most of the monitoring early in the Covid pandemic. I have never heard that has been restored. So if you do not know what they are emitting, do they get to claim whatever they want?
And, since the government now owns wells, mines, and pipelines, do the caps also apply to them? If so, how do they pay a fine?
