#Environment and #ClimateChange #Canada relies on #data collected and reported by industry, and on studies primarily conducted industry. This is known to be inconsistent, for example A3.2.2.1.5 of the 2021 inventory.
Since we do not have independent measurement of activity, and Canada's #emissionsfactor s are largely written by industry, it is unlikely the inventory reflects "actual emissions".
