25 years after the movie #TheMatrix was released I find myself in front of audiences a lot that see themselfes as „progressive“ but are incapable/unwilling to question capitalist reality and imagine a better world.
To them capitalism is as natural as the blue sky or the air we breath.
Or as Morpeus put it:
„Most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. Many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.“

I am reading a lot of legal academic papers about individuals rights against „malfunctioning AI“ atm. Some authers suggest that companies that use „AI“ - especially LLM powered - should only be liable in case the violation of rights is build into the „AI“.
I am wondering (and this is a serious question): Is there something like an unbiased LLM. Isn‘t the creation of defamatory or inaccurate texts a fundamental feature (not a bug) of all LLM?

Ich habe bei "Open Source" als Antwort auf die kommerzielle Aneignung des Digitalen durch Private ein großes Störgefühl.
Nun lese ich bei @npub1st5…usvt, das "Open Source" ausdrücklich von kommerziell orientierten Mitglieder der ehemaligen "Free Software" Bewegung erdacht wurde, um quelloffene Software für kommerzielle kompatibel zu machen und auf einmal hat dieses Störgefühl einen Namen.
(aus dem schon vielfach empfohlenen Sammelband "Theorien des digitalen Kapitalismus")
