25 years after the movie #TheMatrix was released I find myself in front of audiences a lot that see themselfes as „progressive“ but are incapable/unwilling to question capitalist reality and imagine a better world.
To them capitalism is as natural as the blue sky or the air we breath.
Or as Morpeus put it:
„Most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. Many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.“
