My daughter is a climate scientist doing a PhD in aspects of water pollution. Flooding and drought are causing massive tree death globally. Tree death leads to zero rainfall over land.
This is happening in the cleared areas of the Amazon and here in Australia. Yes and Indonesia. Govts keep acting as tho we have time to respond to climate crisis and roll it back - we don't. What one govt does, affects all of us globally. USA and China are "drunk" on irresponsibly bad climate behaviour. They are both major problems for the rest of us. They just won't stop.
It's actually already too late to stop the global damage done.

Frankly.. its nobody's business.
I always say its what's in ppls hearts that matters. Shame we can't see that. It could be lit up with "gentle" or "compassionate" or conversely "effing bastard" or "fascist" then we could avoid those like the plague. Wouldn't that make life easier. Just saying.

Had a fabulous "seniors" day out with husb ystdy, took the #train from #melbourne to #Castlemaine for just under $7 return. Yes, seven dollars.
Great little country town with plenty of corners to explore.
Beautiful stroll through the Botanical Gdns followed by fabulous Italian lunch at Origini Café on Barker Street (I'd 100% recommend the pork + pine nut meatballs but honestly everything looked delish).
Followed by a visit to see the stunning local art in the Visitor Information Centre on Mostyn Street. Wow!
Brilliant day out.

Absolutely 101% true.
Harris's dilemma is that she must not walk into supporting Netanyahu in an all-out war against Iran and Iranian backed factions in Iraq (or elsewhere)
But .. she's not currently president so it's not her call.
Plus many US voters will INCORRECTLY perceive a woman as less capable of running a war than a big tough man. Optics will count pre-election and she needs every vote she can get.
Putin desperately wants the chaos in MEast to push USA into a conflict it oughtn't get involved in. Putin will be encouraging Netanyahu AND Iran to beat their chests. It's a dangerous scenario from all perspectives. Not least of all with diaspora around the globe in countries trying to keep things calm.

When i feel anxious i take my doggies for a walk, find a quiet spot near a tree and look up at the sky with the sun on my face for a good 2 minutes. Listen to the birds and the breeze in the leaves. It works every time.
