I have flex seal in a gallon can. I was just worried that sealing from the inside would cause the water to find a new pathway through the foundation. It looks like the builder will be out next week to dig it up and reseal. Thankfully new construction comes with a structural warranty.

@npub163k…hljx Its usually a never ending project. But I figure that's just how life is. Nothing is permanent. Everything requires maintenance, adjustment, and care. It's a brand new home, so it's expected. Things settle. All the little imperfections slowly show themselves. I've adjusted the doors, shimmed window frames, and rehung the garage door opener. Some of the siding trim has needed to be removed, recut, and put back. We had the house built for the cost of a double wide. No complaints.

Itm. First stress test on the new basement. Looks like the seal and tar around the main drain pipe wasn't prepared for that amount of rain. Luckily I only have to dig down 2ft to access it and seal it properly.

I use the buck 110 and the smaller buck 55 for most things. I have a 5" fixed blade that has a similar blade profile to the 110, but I don't think that ones available any longer. My grandfather gifted it to me. He bought it from a roebuck catalog as a teen.

Itm! I get that most of us dislike EVs but what about hybrids? I've been a mechanic for 10 years and I kinda like my hybrid. I commute about 3hrs a day in my prius. I've put over 230k miles on it with nothing but regular maintenance. I was very skeptical when I first bought it, but it's been a fantastic car that's saved me thousands a year in gas. I also have a good Ole chevy truck and a few motorcycles to make sure I do my part in recarbonizing the planet.

@npub1a73…7y6q nowhere near rich. But I do own land, so I suppose that's rich these days. It's all a matter of perspective. I buy groceries according to price per ounce. I dress like a pauper. I never pass up an opportunity to make money. I have a truck, a trailer, and a toolbox so I can easily make extra money in my spare time. Just grind it out consistently and save every penny.

@npub1d4h…2ta7 I had a KLR250c before this one. It was a fantastic bike. It was a 1989. I got it when I was 15 for about $400. I rode it until I was 30. I think the klr650 is wonderful. It'll cruise at about 65 comfortably and still be able to tackle the fire roads and paths.

The KLR is really nice. It was really hard to choose between it and the verseysX. In the end, I went with the x because it was better on pavement while still being able to tackle dirt tracks and gravel roads.
