It just makes accounts look like bots, in my opinion. I'd rather read huge notes once every 3 days then being spammed with GM, GA, GE, GN every day by multiple people. I could block the words, but then good content that includes them would be hidden too. Same thing applies to hashtags. I've seen plenty of people using some that have nothing to do with the post.

I've had the app since the 7th and only got it to earn in 3 occasions and only got 130 sats. Seriously wondering if it's worth it. I don't even listen on it because AntennaPod is way better, so I just check if I can earn every day and if so I leave it playing muted.

I don't see it being massively adopted simply because not having an email and password to login is too confusing for most people. Pair that with having to store the nsec in a safe space (they'll shove it in notepad or the cloud that is later hacked), having to register the npub in order to have a readable "username" and having to use a separate app/plugin in order to login to other websites because using the nsec directly is not safe.
One way that could make it popular would be to have popular musicians put their music on Wavlake, but I had a look and from the about 150 musicians I listen to none of them are there.

In my opinion, dating nowadays has gotten weird due to the existence of social media, easy hook-ups by using apps like Tinder and porn.
People have too high expectations, mainly most women, due to wanting a man that is young, mature, full of muscle, good looking, above 6 feet and rich, all at the same time, which is unreasonable because all them require time and dedication that can't be given to all at the same time in high quantities.
Men tend to want a good enough looking girl that isn't crazy, can cook, knows how to behave, will be a good mother and will give you space when you need it.
If you come off as abrasive, maybe you need to work on yourself. Ask your family and real friends.
I read the comment about the guy that ghosted you and it doesn't matter if it's a woman or men, that's just a lack of respect and ill behaviour that usually signifies egocentrism.
Judging by your profile picture, you seem attractive to most men, so that's one thing you have to keep in mind, as it is in men's nature to think about sex first, probably due to how the brain works, as we're programmed to procreate.
You probably know this already, the best men to seek are the ones that are usually labelled as "the good guy" and tend to be put in the friendzone. The ones to avoid were the cool party guys that acted like scumbags in school. This is why we are currently seeing a record of single childless women and a study has shown it most probably will go up.

@nprofile…3xgh I'm on Android 15, downloaded the app, connected to my nostr using Amber and everything is fine, but it says to create a wallet. Connecting via signer results in infinite spin, and creating a new one logs me out of nostr and creates a new Fountain profile.
Does it still recognise my wallet link on my nostr profile and send rewards to it?
Also, been using it for a few days and never got rewards. Is this normal? If so, how long should it take until I start getting rewards?

It's the other way around for me. My body works better on fats and I usually feel lethargic if I have too many simple carbs.
I've recently done blood tests and things look perfect because I've optimized my macros and micros by making a list of the foods that contain the most of each vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Basically, get a bit of everything, avoid processed stuff, and a rule I made for myself is if it couldn't be acquired/made hundreds of years ago without machines, then it's not fit for consumption.

This is my problem too. Been to 8 different stores to try to find the Faith in Nature shampoo bar and none of them had it. Go on Amazon and it's right there and at a cheaper price than stores.
Amazon also saved me a chunk of money when I had to buy cookware, since stores charge stupid prices.
Some of the supplements I take also come out cheaper than in stores and stores don't have the bigger size either.
Hence why I haven't deleted my account.

I've given Zucc the middle finger since getting an account because I only had my first name and nothing else (didn't want to have one but was required for school group work). Since 2020 that I've given both middle fingers by deleting my account.
Very few people in this world can be trusted when they have that much power. The people you can trust the most are the ones that usually have very little and lead a frugal life, for their heart is not corrupted.

They're not even useful anymore. All they have now is inorganic bot content, AI generated content and hardly any discussions, and when they do it is mostly people being angry at something or someone, so a more correct term is unsocial media.
I deleted twitter, facebook, instagram and pinterest in 2020 and felt so much better. Another good thing is that I got to know who really is my friend because they downloaded Signal just so we could talk.

I keep seeing people say #nostr is weird, but if anything it is most people outside of here that are weird, at least to me, since most tend to act like NPCs and lack the required attention span and brain capacity to have a long and deep discussion that requires a bit more brain power than normal.
People on nostr simply act like humans have acted since the beginning of times. Happy, creative, kind, curious and unpredictable.

I'm actually thankful in a way that things are getting ruined because it made me go back to old movies I never watched, old games I never played and got me into old music like 1940s swing and big band jazz.
In my opinion we will eventually see things go back to normal because people are getting tired and it shows in revenue.

I'm not sure if it's a problem on my end, I've logged in with nostr but then I can't have a wallet that way. So, do I still earn by listening and it goes to the wallet on my profile? Or do I need to create a Fountain account and then withdraw the sats?
It would also be great to see the same options found on AntennaPod, like silence skip and intro/ending skip.

I see. I guess given the nature of nostr in terms of anonymity and the ability to create wallets on demand would allow anyone to create multiple profiles and farm sats. The problem is, I don't think it would work at least in the long term because inorganic profiles are usually easy to spot in multiple ways.
In my case, I was using a 2013 laptop until 2020. When bitcoin first became a thing I was still a minor. Tried to mine it but the laptop only had an integrated Intel Family Chipset, so I couldn't even mine if I wanted.
2020 came, I built my first PC, saw everyone saying there's no point in mining, so I gave up.
Started listening and reading way more about privacy and security. Was pretty sure bitcoin required KYC and that I'd never be able to get some.
Discovered @nprofile…cuev and he eventually talked about nostr and bitcoin, so I started reading about it.
Been having a few problems, like Cake Wallet didn't support lightning, Zeus was too complicated and uses 24 words instead of 12, Alby won't give me a link to pair to the app, Fountain won't let me have a wallet and nostr profile at the same time so I don't know if it sends sats to the wallet on my nostr profile, Primal doesn't show Amethyst PMs, not even sure if PMs are working because I messaged Fountain and nostr-check 1 and 2 days ago respectively but got no answer.
But hey, I'll only learn by using it and asking.

I got into plastic free for a while now and it is hard. Even clothes are often not 100% made of what's advertised due to it being often sown using plastic threads. The only way to tell is to contact the company, check online or get a loose bit and burn it, since plastic melts instead of turning into ash.
Then in food containers even if you go with glass with bamboo or wood lids they still have a silicone bit around to seal it, and the wood/bamboo is often glued with toxic glue, so you also need to contact the company.
Shampoo, conditioner, exfoliants and some creams/lotions often contain plastic. Natural ingredients only and bars are the alternative.
Dishes sponges are made of plastic. Look into loofah plant sponges.
Shedding from containers occurs mainly due to heating, friction and acidic stuff.

Just remember it's not a race. You'll go insane if you try hard to be perfect all the time.
