My pink dahlias went mad whilst I was away. My lovely neighbour watered them but I'm now sure the plant has put roots down through the holes in the bottom of the big tub it's in into the ground.

I've watched the clip several times now and noticed that though Trump clutches his right ear/right side of face with his right hand, later in the clip, just before the fist pumping, his right hand doesn't appear to have any blood on it. These are things you kinda notice when you've been a nurse. It's unlikely he had time under the table there to wipe it all off his hand as a little blood goes a long way. It's a mystery.

Mr and Mrs Barky Dog have put the Barky Dog outside, where, yes you've guessed it, it's barking frantically, hysterically and running around and scratching on their kitchen door. At some point very soon they're going to let it back in, thereby rewarding it for barking for over 30 minutes now. It may be a bit of 'separation anxiety' but it's actually mostly that they have NO idea how to train a dog, at all.

There are hundreds of people on a thread on twitter from the UK saying there's virtually no bees, moths, butterflies and other insects around in many varied environments with lots of flowers etc. Yes our long cold wet Spring could be a factor, but if they're all dead then there won't be new young ones popping up when the weather warms up properly will there? I'm awaiting a summons or visit soon from the "propagation prohibited" patrol as I've just taken 3 cuttings from my fancy geraniums, one from my Aeonium and another from a clump of London Pride. It's raining again so I've come indoors to make lists and contemplate pruning the wegelia now it's finished flowering and when I'm going to fix a substantial batten to the outside bathroom wall for attaching more birdboxes...I'm not good AT ALL any more on ladders though.

Only when the names of owners is made much MUCH more public and clearer to those seeking a placement for their family member can some extra protection be put in place.

I feel 'hungover' this morning, which is awful given that I didn't have any alcohol last night. Maybe I'm dehydrated? My stomach feels a bit upset, don't know why. If one person had just said 'we should have a party', that person may be considered as bossy and/or end up doing all the organising themselves, having not sought group agreement.
