It's a little strange to think about how many navy movies there used to be. Follow the Boys had some hot women in it, and it was all about girls following their BFs on their naval voyage. Makes sense that before air travel, the navy was the branch voyaging around and seeing the world.

Min order is about 300 thru my supplier, cost per was ~$3.75 if I recall. Once you get to 1,000 or so it gets better, like $1.95 maybe? Probably gone up since then. That's full embroidered, too. If you cheap out you can get ~40% lower price but they're not as robust and they look cheesy.
Full PVC is a lot more, about 1.8x the cost of a full emb. patch.
Then you get into whether it's just hot glued onto the velcro backing, or sewn on. That's one thing a lot of sellers scrimp on, thinking it doesn't matter but it makes a huge diff. for hard use.
So you COULD make some for whatever you want and be kind of profitable, if you don't value your time. Street cost is basically ten dollars for the customer to get 1 or 2, depending on quant.

I remember being a kid when they were talking about this program. Then a couple guys died in those super old T38s, and the air force panicked about finding a replacement since their trainers were even OLDER than the average civvie plane. They could have bought something already made, off the shelf, but they bowed to lobbying and listened to the industry when they pretended they could design a brand new thing like they did in the 60's. The T-38 had its first flight in like, 59. Then it entered service 3 years later. This T-7 POS was supposed to be in the fleet in 2013, the first time around.
Then they said "no 2020, it'll be ready".
Then a while back it became 2024.
Now, 2 weeks later they say 2027.
For like, an urgent program? Because they can't figure out the ejection system? Because it kills pilots?
Y'know, the same problem they had in like 1958? The one they solved in a year using slide rules and nicotine?

You know, when you shake the new guy’s hand and notice it’s a little greasy, so you start looking at it a little bit as they start pulling away and they get all weird and you see the thick, white sunscreen start to smear off and expose their black skin underneath and you have to be all like
