My wildest dreams have come true: I have two teeth in my lower jaw that are close together. When I eat a steak, there is always a chunk of meat hanging in there that I try to pull out with my tongue. This goes on for about 30 minutes. If it was a medium or rare steak, the chunk is now cooked and as I'm usually hungry again after 30 minutes, it's always a little snack (I appreciate). But my much better half complains about this habit. Should I go vegan, what do you think?

Because IP address can still leak. Each time you connect to the internet, your ip is blasted all over the place. You can not be sure that your vpn app handles reconnects etc safely. Safest is to use a mobile router with always on VPN that blocks internet when VPN doesn't connect. Might be overkill but if you are an activist (I'm not) you would need to be super cautious.

Privacy in Spain is not a thing. I recently stayed in a Hotel in Spain and they want to scan your ID (illegal) to send the details to the police (it's a law). But nobody cares. Tourist happily hand over their IDs and wait 2 hrs to get it back. So better don't use Hotel WiFi's, even if you connect via a VPN. Better use WiFi's at a restaurant or bar, waiters usually tell you the password, most of the time it's 12345678 or the name of the bar 😉 .

That's why you use Tor only on snapshotted vm and revert when you're done browsing so that everything that might have been stored like cookies is gone next time you boot the vm. Or just use tails booted to memory from a USB stick.

Who the fuck cares anyways. I use it to pay my VPN or VPS hosting service if there is no LN option. Use the tools wisely. Good news is more an more sites offer LN payment options but requires more work to make the payment anonymous (own node, funded with no-KYC BTC etc.)

Spain is a privacy disaster when checking into a hotel. Had to give them my passport for making a copy. Refused and said please jot down the details but I will not allow you to keep it for taking a copy as it is illegal. They said call police but you won't be allowed to stay here. Looks like they need to send the details to the police over night. What a 1984 shit.

This just blew my mind: American vs European Toilets. A variation is the german "Flachspüler" which is german practical design at its best. Regarding the American toilet, I believe you need a better reaction time to not get splashed as you sort of hover over a small lake.
