The thing is that if we did not have the concept of money then I believe your argument is valid. However since we do, the very expectation/chance that Bitcoin could become money is what I guess drove people to want to have it in the first place. In other words: Once the concept of a medium exchange for trade is established you can evaluate any good with regards to how well it fits to the „ideal“ medium of exchange with regards to its properties. Because of the absolute scarcity of Bitcoin (and some other properties) it becomes valuable and people want to have it

The answer by the way was very simple: sort by descending density and loop over each item. Try to add id to the subset and if the average amount of B remains above X keep it added. If it isn’t, skip it and try with the next item until you went through all of them

There's also a peach telegram support chat, might be easier to help there. Just from reading this it's a bit tough to say what could be going wrong, because it should just redirect to a page telling you to download TestFlight and as the second step the option to test the Peach Bitcoin app (which opens TestFlight with that app info and an "accept" button)
Not sure if that's the issue, because in the TestFlight app indeed there is this redeem button, but you have to go through the link found on the peach website instead.

I have not yet read “The sovereign individual” but it’s been recommended to me by multiple unrelated people, so I imagine it’s also pretty good.

When I understood what bitcoin truly is, why it is the way it is and what its potential is, it became clear that it is the most fundamental, wide ranging and impactful innovation of my life. Naturally I oriented myself towards that goal and am blessed to now work on this mission every day.
I got into bitcoin as one way to make money. I stayed in it because I realized with Bitcoin you can stop looking for these ways and simply focus on your craft/doing what you love because it fixes inflation (and so much more)

But you have to unlock it first to spend it and you lock it again for the recipient. You don’t really change the lock, you just move bitcoin behind a new lock.
I mean I’m not sure about all the technicals details here and am sure that there’s a reason why what I‘m thinking of won’t work.
But from what I heard it it possible using FROST to add and remove required signatures from a multisig without an onchain tx. (So changing the lock without unlocking it)

Not sure if I’m late to the party but I just realized that zaps break the mindset of posting stuff for money.
It seems counterintuitive because zaps are quite literally money you receive for stuff you post.
But the critical thing is that it happens *after* the post. It is something you cannot predict, something that isn’t guaranteed.
That in turn makes you consider what people will consider the most valuable as opposed to being a mindless puppet to the people that pay you for your posts *in advance*.
