There is something about this picture having no color... I think it makes me look harder, and notice so much more. The lines on the sidewalk, the pants and cap he's wearing, those stains on the road, the panels on the wall... I really like this one.

I found an obscure(to me) Italian/German animated movie, "Momo alla conquista del tempo", and thought the main character would be really fun to animate. So I spent the past two weeks learning how to draw her.
I couldn't find a model sheet so I used frames from the movie as reference.

Some changes to the toy padlock.
I made a second locking bar with thicker teeth so the lock can't be shimmed.
Both locking bars have the back cut out so the rubber band is easier to attach.
Added numerals to the disc frames.
Added a design in the back of the key that can be use to screw the bolts in.

I 3D printed a test of my Toy Padlock Kit using a bunch of leftover filament.

I've been working on this 3D printing project for the past week. I was thinking of a "How locks work/build you own" kit for kids.
The hardest part was designing something simple enough for a 3-5 year old without being too large, but able to withstand being used as a hammer.
The whole thing is 4.8 x 7.3 x 1.75 inches.
