This is a reminder that #Xamarin #dotnet support ended with XCode 15. If you upgrade to Sequoia or have been accidentally forced to upgrade to XCode 16, you will likely have a broken development environment.
Also, there is no #dotnetmaui support for XCode 16 yet until the .NET 9 release in November.
You're currently in mobile no-man's land.
Use a tool like xcodes to install the previous XCode version and set the appropriate build tools.

I built Kelvin, a key light web app using plain old #HTML/#CSS/#JavaScript.
I typically sit in a darker room and don't want to buy a big, bulky key light. So now I can open this web page and pick a Kelvin light temperature to give me some key light directly from my monitor.
Using split-screen features, you can be on calls and use your big-ass monitor as your light source.

Turns out the snap install of #dotnet sdk on Ubuntu is borked because the workloads are pruned from having access to things like the maui-android workload.
You can work around the issue by using the `dotnet-install` script. :\

I’m sure many folks don’t know this, but when you use the #HTML attribute of `id`, it attaches that element to the `window` object so you can access those elements in your #JavaScript.
You can also make things a nightmare by giving an element an id of `document` 😅.

I’m playing around with the new #TileMapLayer in #godotengine and made this metaphor for life using the @npub138v…a88x fish tileset.

The secret to #htmx, in my opinion, is that it gets you back to writing and thinking with HTML first and foremost.
In some cases, you realize, oh, this just works with GETs and POSTs, and I don't need htmx at all. That's the “aha” moment for me.

Someone emailed me asking if #HTMX 2.0 works with complex #Shoelace #webcomponents. There was a Shadow DOM issue, but it all seems to work now with no additional #JavaScript.

I believe the good use cases of AI don’t have “AI” plastered anywhere near them.
Grammar checking, spell check, summarization, image processing, and code completion are valuable, so they don’t need the Salt-bae sprinkle of AI branding to hype them.
Apple has had these in its ecosystem for a while but sold the value, not the tech.
