Wow. This one's hard. Mozilla depends on Google. I'm not sure they could sustain themselves if this goes through. That doesn't justify the practice but it's a side effect to consider. Hopefully Mozilla has seen this coming and are doing something to help sustainable outside of Google search monopoly.

If a private urgent care facility in Auckland can't even refill the soap dispenser in the toilet I wonder what that means for public care facilities. The reception here looks a bit dated. The people being manipulated by social media (eg anti-vaxers) are hard out trying to get people to submit responses to the Covid inquiry. The Democracy Now guy's old campaign signs have been reused for this. lol. He's got signed in 3 different places within 6km. And some other knob (same knob?) posted anti-vax signs next to these.
Anyway go do a submission otherwise these people will be the loudest.

@npub16uk…pv7k nice. Here in Kauaʻi they used valuable land set aside for the Native Hawaiians to put a solar farm. And it's a totally waste of the land. A little common sense and they could have made use of the land below. Even though they paid nothing for the rights to the land there excuse was probably that they couldn't afford anything else. Also it's a Solar City project 😑.

What's great about the web is you can make UI/UX and it'll work 10 years later. These proprietary platforms like iOS Switch etc. you're forced to re-write all your software after about 4 years. We don't have trillions of dollars sitting around that we can rewrite everything every year. #IHateBigTech

This is the second time I'm the city 1 week before all the big tech AI bros get to flatter each other with the leaders of big Imperialist nations. I hope my talk struck a chord with the policy people in the audience. I argue that the US and UK will never really regulate the core problem with tech because Big Tech are an extension of these countries' imperialism. Also this isn't a new idea from me. Others have made these observations since as early as free market capitalism.
