Folks, I need your help to understand something.
I have a 4000 Mbps up, 4000 Mbps down fiber connection at my home.
I used a CAT6 cable, which should be 10Gbps. It has a speedtest result of ~2300.
I then used a CAT8 cable, which should be 40Gpbs. It results in ~4000.
Why?

I just found out July 4th 2026 is going to be the 250th anniversary of the United States. I wonder how crazy that day is going to get. How much fireworks is too much?

I'm looking into upgrading to a 4K projector, as their prices have gone down a lot in the last few years, but I have a question:
Why does a 4K projector have a VGA and an RS-232 port? It's not like I'm looking to project Win95.
There are HDMI ports too, but still, why VGA/RS?
