@npub10ur…ndl9 C'est comme le système à l’Américaine mais nous on a les restrictions d'office.
Chaque assurance à sa propre liste de médecins/services. Si tu ne vas pas dans leur réseau tu paies plein pot.
Et les assurances sont géographiques: tu es couvert seulement dans les états où ton assurance existe. Les grosses compagnies couvrent plusieurs états mais aucune tout le pays.
Comme cette année j'avais prévu ma chirurgie j'ai pris une assurance avec une franchise basse, 1 500$.
Je paie mon assurance 4 200$ par an (350$/mois).
J'ai atteint ma franchise avec mon opération (7 000$). Avant ça j’étais partiellement remboursé. Maintenant c'est mieux mais pas à 100% (c'est généralement 80%).
J'en profite pour voir des spécialistes et faire des analyses qui sinon me coûterait plusieurs centaines de dollars à chaque fois.
Mais après 65 ans tout est pris en charge par l’État US, à la Française.
C'est Medicare, que les Républicains veulent supprimer parce que "socialisme!!".

Gros gros kif aujourd'hui quand la caissière du supermarché a complimenté mon t-shirt.
Quand je lui ai dit que c'est moi qui ai fait le design elle m'a dit "Oh c'est trop mignon ! Vous devriez le vendre !".

When I started HRT I didn't think much of body hair because I come from a family of non-hairy men but now I do have belly hair and I absolutely love it!

I also discovered that it is not fun at all when they get stuck in your belt/elastic of your pants.

It enshrines the freedom of choice but not the access to abortion and right now the French government is busy destroying public healthcare US Republican style.
Also when writing the text they very publicly rejected the inclusion of trans people in the phrasing.
And talking about trans right in France Wikipedia France administrators are defending deadnaming and misgendering in articles on the ground that it's 'encyclopedic information' and have banned many trans and trans allies contributors who complained against their policy.
We're trying to get the higher instances of Wiki to intervene so if anyone's interested in helping @npub10p6…xc3d has a great thread about what you can do.:heart_trans:

I'm discovering adult life with no preconception because I had no expectations to start with.
At 10 I wanted to end my life but promised myself I wouldn't do it while my parents were alive so I never expected to be adult very long anyway (I thought I was 'abnormal' because no one else was like me. No trans representation in the 80s).
Fortunately I was saved when I fulfilled my promise and I'm so fucking glad of it!
I actually managed as an adult the only wish I ever made as a kid: being happy. I am (as much as can be in this world) because I can finally be myself. :heart_trans:

Pour moi tant que ça sent pas trop le rance et que ça bouge pas tout seul c'est mangeable.
Et oui j'avoue qu'avec cette méthode j'ai mangé du riz complet pendant plusieurs mois sans me rendre compte que ce qui flottait dans ma soupe n’était pas la balle du riz vu que ça avait des petites papattes.

J'ai bossé en maison de retraite aux Sates où les anti-anxiolytiques (y compris le cannabis !) sont utilisés. Ça ne résout pas tout mais j'ai côtoyé des gens qui n'arrivaient pas à se souvenir de leur nom ou même manger par eux-mêmes encore capable de rire et de s'amuser. Et moi avec eux.
Pour ce que vous en décrivez cette BD sent la condescendance méprisante envers les personnes âgées, le déclin mental justifiant de décréter que leur vie ne vaut pas la peine d’être vécue (non).
Avoir un proche souffrant d'Alzheimer est très, très difficile à gérer, psychologiquement et matériellement mais nier que ces patients puissent vivre heureux malgré la maladie est une façon facile de se dédouaner pour les délaisser.

It's now clear that lists by Time Zones are a very good idea.
I follow people in Europe and obviously they toot at a completely different time than the US and more often than not get lost down my timeline.
Some people might see it as tedious work but I think it's actually fun to create lists and decide who goes where.😁
