At 10 I wanted to end my life but promised myself I wouldn't do it while my parents were alive so I never expected to be adult very long anyway (I thought I was 'abnormal' because no one else was like me. No trans representation in the 80s).
Fortunately I was saved when I fulfilled my promise and I'm so fucking glad of it!
I actually managed as an adult the only wish I ever made as a kid: being happy. I am (as much as can be in this world) because I can finally be myself.
