* bit of blocker herding
* fixed a silly bug in my #fedora eln critpath hack - https://pagure.io/releng/pull-request/12306
* rest of the day working on getting #openqa update tests working on ELN, have all the changes (to createhdds, the scheduler, and the tests) deployed on stg for testing, but got roadblocked by an actual bug in ELN (packages not all signed with the correct key), diagnosed that with sgallagh a bit and it's being fixed now

I know the whole #kernel #rust thing is a big sensitive topic right now, but I did want to boost https://fosstodon.org/@lina@vt.social/113056534035273557 because "we need tooling to help us" is so important.
I've never written anything substantial in Rust or C, that's not the point. I mainly work in Python. but the theory holds.
It is *so much nicer* to work on a project where tools are helping you. If you write good tests and have good CI, making changes to your project is *so much less stressful*.

monday: public holiday (just fixed up a few test failures)
yesterday: travel to #fedora #Flock2024 , went miraculously well despite two ridiculously tight transfers. wrote most of my talk

@npub1rar…q4yr for dark mode, install gnome-tweaks and set them theme for "Legacy Applications" to "Adwaita-dark". should help with at least some of them (GTK3 apps, basically).

* generated some stats on tests run, bugs filed and bugs fixed during release validation of different #fedora releases for my boss. they're kinda interesting: they really show that since #openqa testing started we catch most bugs much earlier. might post a thread on them later
* did a bunch of reproduction and investigation on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2280840 , still ongoing
* now gonna write a dumb workaround for that one for openqa

* updated my system with the big dnf5-as-default switch, checked it went OK, looked at what packages were still installed, checked porting status of some things
* spent the rest of the day working on cloud-image-uploader again; got it to 100% test coverage, but want to tweak and reconsider some things before sending a PR and going on to the container work. https://pagure.io/fork/adamwill/cloud-image-uploader/commits/extend-to-container

@npub1rg5…tdr8 I'm a bit confused. If Google tells me right, "language servers" are for vscode, which isn't packaged in Fedora anyway. Our recommended way to install it is from Microsoft's repo or a flatpak. So why would you want the language servers as distro packages? Am I misunderstanding?
