I know the whole #kernel #rust thing is a big sensitive topic right now, but I did want to boost https://fosstodon.org/@lina@vt.social/113056534035273557 because "we need tooling to help us" is so important.
I've never written anything substantial in Rust or C, that's not the point. I mainly work in Python. but the theory holds.
It is *so much nicer* to work on a project where tools are helping you. If you write good tests and have good CI, making changes to your project is *so much less stressful*.
