Definitely #Caturday. We were awakened today by 3 cats (all of which hate the others) rampaging after a single mouse--rare around here. Sound effects were astonishing while they alternated pursuit with knocking crap over and fighting each other about who gets the next shot at a grab, I guess. Add 2 big dogs who now think the cats need help. Holy crap. 5am on a weekend. Could you just kill the damn thing already?? 🤦‍♀️🙀

I would give almost anything to be sitting on my back porch in #Arizona, watching this #sunset view again with the peace that was present a year ago. Sometimes life is just too damned complicated. Why does zero delay in returning your ballot matter? Here's how mine is progressing. Mailed to me on 10/9 (I'm told). Didn't receive until 10/19. (Yep, I'm out of town, but that's still a long time.) Returned at an area hub with morning pickup on 10/21. As of this moment on 10/29, it's still drifting out there somewhere, not yet "received." Do. Not. Wait. Not a single moment that's avoidable.

Ended up with over 100 jars of blackberry preserves, spiced juice (think brandy!), jam, and syrup. Lost count of how many bags went in the freezer. Also a few Spiced-Apple-Rum syrup. My feet want to move out and get their own apartment. I suspect my fingers are permanently stained. Every joint is screaming... but it is DONE! Now for tomatoes, cucumbers, and the rest of the apples. Yikes. 🍎 😬 😆
