I approach with a similar mindfulness. Rather than fight the discomfort, which is negative in nature and only increases the conflict, I sit with and acknowledge it, but let it flow through and around me, and out.
If I don't fight it, I can take that saved fight energy and apply it to other mindfulness tools in my toolkit.
