🤣 you are anything but lazy!
I don’t have any issues with WP either - I just prefer other solutions but I really appluaud everyone who has got themselves onto the web in any way. Just sad to read what’s happening today.

I don’t use Wordpress because I am able to code html and css quite well, thank you, so over the years, since I came off Movable Type, I have used EE, Craft, Perch, Kirby and 11ty for my project sites. None of these platforms will have issues like WP Engine customers have today, but the issue is none of these platforms are for beginners or folk with little time. There isn’t a mass market alternative to WP, not really.

Been testing some #11ty 3 beta stuff out today - mainly the image bits (and looks like I may have some work to sort out what i would like it to do) but one thing that got me was for my news page https://www.simoncox.com/news/ I am pulling in the content with {{ post.data.content | safe }} but that does not work in 3 - but {{ post.content | safe }} does though.

I have conveniently tucked news type feeds int a News list on mastodon with their own column in the advanced view and, importantly, in the list settings have set them not to appear in my Home feed. I can now dip into that when i need news and leave Home to the more esoteric and whimsical.

I did hear someone suggesting that it was an input from a French controller which leads me to suspect someone had not thought to include french accents marks in the programming - for an international flight controllers system...
Also heard someone complaining that flights are an essential service. Non. They are a luxury.
