It's bad enough that morons on steam bleat about games being "abandoned" if the dev doesn't become their slave forever after finishing a game, but when they start calling that "abandonware" I want to break into their house and kick them to death.THAT IS NOT WHAT ABANDONWARE IS.
Abandonware is a good and important thing, and without it you probably wouldn't even be able to play half the games you have because they wouldn't exist. The abandonware crowd saved games, and they're our only hope for the next 10-15 years of the same corporate publishers who wrecked them last time doing it all over again. This isn't just pedantry, it's very important.

They can still sell it, and idiots will still buy it, pretend it's doing something and sell it on, back and forth over and over until it all looks valuable and their entire internet economy is built by it.
I used to go into twitter's "analytics" every few years just to laugh at what new arrangement of bollocks they'd made up since I last looked. It was always the most obviously worthless, "middle manager with a deadline" garbage ever invented, and instead of ever rethinking how they operate, they just sweep the turds around and dump more on top.

it appears that once again, someone has made a facebook account and wrongly used an email address that belongs to me, and instead of doing the most basic, 90s-level email verification, facebook have just let them carry on.
Not only is it still very difficult to complain to them if you don't have an account, but their online form demands that you give them your full name and SEND THEM YOUR ID in order to make a complaint. Absolute fucking scum business
