It's bad enough that morons on steam bleat about games being "abandoned" if the dev doesn't become their slave forever after finishing a game, but when they start calling that "abandonware" I want to break into their house and kick them to death.THAT IS NOT WHAT ABANDONWARE IS.
Abandonware is a good and important thing, and without it you probably wouldn't even be able to play half the games you have because they wouldn't exist. The abandonware crowd saved games, and they're our only hope for the next 10-15 years of the same corporate publishers who wrecked them last time doing it all over again. This isn't just pedantry, it's very important.
