The entire home folder. This is not default behavior for that command, and can only be done by explicitly adding --purge as an option and running as root. It's a shitty situation but one that can be prevented

the latest drama is that someone ran the command to delete systemd temp files with the --purge option which, as you may have guessed, was interpreted by systemd as "ah yeah purge all the files that, for the purposes of the system, could be considered temporary" This included /home (which to me is sensible) and has resulted in people BLOWING UP at systemd and its maintainers for approaching linux "like a landlord running everything on the cloud" when to me, especially with the rise of immutable filesystems and people keeping /home on a totally separate hard drive....idk it makes sense from the standpoint of your system controller? It feels like making a mountain out of a molehill to me.

Most of my family group chats are on it! and coworker chats, and random friends.
Signal is the de facto chat program among tech people and lawyers, but I find it doesn't take a ton of work to get others on it even if they are neither of those things.

yeah.......the original is firmly a "play it every once in a while with drinks" platformer. I liked it, but I've also never beaten it because I usually lose interest in the ice level.
I'm confused at the remake though. the graphics look better, I guess, but part of the charm for me was everything being extremely colorful and the new lighting doesn't do that super well.
if they had enough money for a remake, and new assets, and new music.....why not just make another sequel using everything they learned from their other games?

check file permissions. is synapse running as a service user? if so, does its user have permissions for the folder it's trying to access?
