yeah.......the original is firmly a "play it every once in a while with drinks" platformer. I liked it, but I've also never beaten it because I usually lose interest in the ice level.
I'm confused at the remake though. the graphics look better, I guess, but part of the charm for me was everything being extremely colorful and the new lighting doesn't do that super well.
if they had enough money for a remake, and new assets, and new music.....why not just make another sequel using everything they learned from their other games?
