Tengo una pregunta acerca de un viaje que pienso hacer — EEUU a Alicante.
Me parece bien ir desde Barajas hasta Chamartín para poder cumplir mi viaje a Alicante por tren (en lugar de esperar 4 horas en aeropuerto y después tener un vuelo de una hora).
Me gustaría saber ¿es un locura?!?
De lo que veo en internet, no me parece tan difícil, ni tan caro.

These pumpkins are the same species as Butternut squash. To me, the Butternut has had a lot of breeding towards sweetness. The Seminole pumpkins have a rich flavor, but less sweet. They are very vigorous growers (need space), yield well, and will keep until spring.

Even in this very dry year, the garden did very well. The clay soil with a lot of organic matter absorbs and holds moisture, which helps the plants survive between rains.
These Seminole pumpkins (Cucurbita moschata) only received extra water as small plants. The quality this year is excellent (lots of sunshine). This pumpkin (squash) has been in storage for ten weeks, and it’s still beautiful!

Estuve allí alrededor de la Albufera una vez. Leía la novela Cañas y Barro de Blasco Ibañez y me gustó la sinergia de ver donde tiene lugar la historia. Muy bonito lugar y muy especial.

La mayoría de los pueblos tienen gente blanca. De hecho, Fort Madison tenía más diversidad que el lugar donde vivo ahora. Hay una comunidad de mexicano-americanos que llego alrededor de 1920. En los 70, los abuelos todavía hablaba español, pero mis compañeros de la escuela muy poco.

Crecí en Fort Madison. Está en la orilla del río Mississippi. Como en St Louis, mucha gente llegó allí en barco de vapor, incluso muchos alemanes.

Hola. Este pajarito tiene una historia interesante en EEUU (en el enlace). Cuando habla de “el sudeste Iowa,” habla de la zona donde crecí yo.
Me parece triste (y típico) que los inmigrantes trajeran pájaros de Europea para sentirse más en casa. Así fue la actitud de los pioneros y colonizadores.
Al menos este pajarito no ha causado muchos problemas.
