@npub1keg…djeq People are absolutely not used to open or enigmatic endings. They feel cheated or disconcerted by it. I blame it on the decline of literacy.
I EAT that shit up! I love ambiguous, open, impossible endings/stories. I love when things don't line up in purpose.
The ironic thing is that reality is more often than not full of things that don't make sense, yet these stories are seen as surreal.

When looking where to eat, a lot of people are looking for a lot of things beyond food: what place is "fun" or seems to cater to their age group, what is noisy or not, what kind of options there are. This is why a lot of popular places offer pizzapastamexican, for example.
I say you keep doing things how you think they should be, and the right people will find it. Don't worry about what others do.

I can't judge without tasting, but the mere concept of a chile relleno floating in tomato and creme sauce is horrifying. I'd call it something else. Like "Swiss Chile Relleno". Chiles Rellenos in particular are the source of intense food wars, because of the battered vs not debate, to start. Most mexicans will agree with the general sentiment that if it flies it flies, however.
