I just think that's really cool, and I hope she is proud of me, wherever her soul resides now.
Personally—and I don't talk religion/faith often because I mostly feel it's a private thing—I do believe in an afterlife. But I also believe in reincarnation as a choice, so maybe she's alive again somewhere. For all I know, I AM her, because she died the exact day I was conceived (why my mother decided to tell me this once, I have no idea, because...creepy lol).

I never met my grandmother, but I carry her with me always, as my middle name was once a part of hers. I also found out several years ago that she had one hazel eye and one brown eye, so I get my eye color from her. No one else in our family alive today shares either.

It's been almost 3 weeks now since I told my friend that her alcoholism was affecting our friendship and she blew up at me.
Her bf contacted me a couple days after it all went down and said she does want to talk, but she is working on herself.
