A few days ago somebody asked what could be a proper nostr terminology and although renote is funny, I think "reposts" should be called boost.
In nostr, likes do not boost notes because there's no algorithm to take notice what people like or not. Renotes are what actually boost notes visibility.
Big bummer boost is widely understood at like and it would definitely be too confusing to even attempt changing that.

The lack of plausible deniability with Monero is a big problem for me. I want excuses as to why I use potentially privacy preserving techniques that do not incriminate myself directly. Saving on transaction costs is perfect for that.
Also I dislike the all or nothing stance in general. This is not how life works.

I am confused.
I get the Twitter clone thing with the note signing, posting, zapping, relaying, etc... What loses me is the protocol side of things with the events signing and all the different use cases.
Hopefully "Nostr is not decentralized X" campaigns will happen eventually that will clear things up for me. Or maybe I stop being lazy and I just do the work.
