I moderated a Mastodon instance for a while, it was fun for a few months. Then the vocal minority took over and made the whole experience awful. My mental health improved after stepping away.
I've seen IRC channels and forums go to shit because of this same behavior.
You're ruining the thing you're pretending to defend. Humans gonna human.

I haven't been #running for almost 3 months because both physically and mentally I just couldn't make myself go out there. Today I started running again, just 4km but we gotta build that trust and momentum back up.
Today reminded me why I run, why I love running.
I run because my body allows me to. Not everyone's that fortunate.

I don't get why, in Google Chrome, you can pin a tab but you can just as easily close said pinned tab with cmd+w. What's the point of pinning a tab then?!

Finished setting up my new 40 inch 5k2k ultrawide monitor and... it's awesome. Getting the full 5k 120hz over Thunderbolt 4, the colors are amazing, the amount of ports on this thing is insane, auto brightness is really useful. This is my dream monitor.

Finally installed #Signal on my phone after a long time of not really seeing the point. I still don't see the point. It's supposed to be encrypted but it does a really bad job of selling the user on that. And it somehow has "stories" and a "wallet" for paying with some sort of climate destroying crypto coin. Why does everything need to be infested with crypto bullshit? Signal seems like bullshit. Next.

After 37 years of stumbling through life, this morning I got unofficially diagnosed with ADHD. I thought it would give me a little breathing room, but instead I have no idea what's next. Would an official diagnoses bring some more clarity? Should I be making changes to my life? I'm left clueless and I have some figuring out to do.

Ultra training is a go.
After 2 months of doing almost nothing sports related, I got out there again and got owned by very strong head winds. Managed a pretty good pace nonetheless taking into account my very erratic schedule so far. Let’s go from here.

I have no use for a desktop computer but boy does the new Mac Mini look like everything I've ever wanted out of a computer. It's small, it looks good, it's incredibly fast, it's silent... Wow.
