Doesnt have to be on phone. Set up TOTP with keepass or pass. The webapp password managers are bloat. Sync password store with syncthing. Or use yubikey as others say, either as the regular six-digit TOTP generator or I believe github also supports the FIDO thing

I've been using flakes since about that time and not sure I could explain why in a general way. I have a flake to specify multiple machine configurations with different nixpkgs sets and other inputs (like agenix and simple-nixos-mailserver). Probably he's conflating some crypto shitcoins with this, he casually mentioned Ripple which is retarded. Yes you can't buy much with Bitcoin right now, but how can you not ask "this is new -- is there a reason for people to start using it for other reasons or in hopes of it becoming more of a medium of exchange than it already is?" If you consider casino chips or credit card points, the answer is probably no. If you consider crypto shit garbage the answer is maybe not. If you consider bitcoin the answer has got to be at least maybe. If you assert that a financial instrument is useless because it is not already a medium of exchange then no new mediums of exchange would ever have arisen after the very first widely adopted instance. Come the fuck on. Am I wrong?

I have had to force close two or three out of a small lifetime total of maybe twelve due to connectivity issues. One day remote node (always had 50+ channels) just appeared permanently offline but checking amboss or similar, many of their channels were still reporting, many others seemed AWOL just like mine. I run Tor-only cln. Maybe remote was clearnet+Tor and had Tor issues? Never figured it out
