@npub198t…hasj I've got bad news, coming from somebody who exercises a lot: it helps a little, but unless you're doing the Tour de France regularly you aren't going to move the needle much with just exercise. In my experience it's all about a good diet, or at least not having a bad diet. I personally find this much harder, which is why I can't lose weight right now 😞
Being fit is great, though! You can still have great abs, even if they're a bit hard to see.

@npub1dvd…h0ph My feelings on Go are much the same as yours, but I'm paid to write it so there it is. I'm surprised to hear this particular list of frustrations from a Python developer, though. I was also a Python developer for many years. I miss comprehensions, and nothing else. Every time I have to write or debug Python these days it feels like somebody cut my right arm off.

I watch a lot of YouTube. So much, in fact, that I feel I get my money's worth from YouTube Premium.
However, YouTube content these days is increasingly sponsored. This is annoying and I invariably skip through it, but I wonder what the revenue split of one of these videos is between sponsor and ad revenue. I wonder if it would be financially viable to post sponsored videos on PeerTube without a major business model change.
Perhaps @npub18hd…kf64 has given it some thought?

@npub1gfd…7gg6 On the face of it, this sounds sounds like they're planning to start a new distro based on a point-in-time fork of RHEL? If so, that's great.
They describe it being RHEL-compatible, though. They're presumably going to create a new fork every time Red Hat changes something? Interested to know how this will differ from Rocky, Alma, et al.

Their level is that they're people who don't want to die for entertainment. If the roads aren't closed YOU CAN'T RACE ON THEM. That's true for anybody. Chapeau to them for what must have been a hard decision. The men would do well to follow their lead and do the same far more often, as recent tragic events have only highlighted.
