I used 3.5” floppies back in the 90s a lot!
I remember that once I was copying NHL’97 from a friend on 100 FD only to realize it won’t work on my 486 machine (it required Pentium instructions to run).
In the early 90s I used 5.25” but it was not on my computer, it was friend’s.
End of 90s my dad brought me a couple of 8” FD, so I held them in my hands, but never used them with a computer, because there was none to use these around me at that time.

Quite often, the following scenario would occur (I know because I've been guilty of doing the same):
You start to write an eloquent response explaining why the tweet you're reacting to is wrong, but suddenly you hit the character limit. You spend a few minutes trying to rephrase your thoughts to fit within the limit, but now your message doesn't make any sense. Frustrated, you delete everything and just post "You are wrong" or "Screw you" instead.
Do you have any indication that factors other than the character limit might be responsible for the poor quality of discussions on Twitter?

Check the sigs and which keys are you signing them. I remember when Alby had broken zaps (they were signing with their key, but they were claiming it was signed by my key), the zaps were showing in Iris but not in Damus. Maybe Iris is not checking the signatures of zaps at all?
