Fiz o teste com hex e deu o mesmo erro, pra ver se a chave hex estava correta eu converti online minha npub pra comparar com o que tive offline com a npub e bateu, logo a nsec em hex que eu testei também estava correta.
Enfim, pode ser um erro de tipagem, talvez no código original em Rust a nsec tenha sido declarada de um jeito e a função bech32 precisa receber uma outra haha enfim, vou esperar o 0xtr ver isso, preciso focar em outras coisas agora haha

Pois é, deve ser algum bug no código na hora de converter nsec pra hex. Vou ver se encontro uma ferrenta offline de conversão pra tentar testar com hexadecimal.
Mas se for mesmo um bug de conversão, mesmo se eu dar um hex como input ele vai aplicar a mesma função bugada de conversão haha eu teria que editar o código pra retirar a função de conversão e compilar localmente. Talvez eu até faça isso, mas eu tenho outras prioridades pros próximos dias hahah mas valeu pela dica!

I recommend pure Debian, but once you install it, remove the gnome-software (we use terminal for everything, we don't even use the GUI software store):
**$ sudo apt remove gnome-software**
After that you will see the RAM usage drop dramatically (around 900MB, almost like running Xfce). You can even uninstall more gnome trash if you want, but this one is the main RAM eater haha.

The same way citizens are hostages of states, small landlock and buffer state countries are subject to foreign political and sometimes violence of regional powers.
Concerning the values of freedom, this is an unmistakable Western value. What these dumb people think is that being anti-west is equal to be anti-woke. To the contrary, being aligned with Western values is essentially being anti-woke, anticommunist, anti-nazist or any other form of oppression against the ultimate minority which is the individual.
So what enemies of the Western values does is to fund and promote stupid ideias within western countries (Nazism, communism, wokeism and radical Islamic groups). A big example of all of this is the famous and classic interview of Yuri Bezmenov in the 80's.
So, the only anchor we must have is our western values, everything alien to it is by definition our opposition.

I think you are right, recently I heard from a "libertarian" that all the oil reserves from Venezuela being on Maduro's socialist dictatorship hands is better for the Venezuelan people than if Venezuela would be under US/Western sphere of influence.

Well, I must say that I have mixed feelings about it.
From one side I understand that countries openly against the West (specially autocracies/dictatorships) would love to infiltrate actors into the Linux Kernel since it powers up many servers around the world, and any backdoor would be extremely valuable in a cyber warfare.
On the other hand an open source project like the Linux Kernel shouldn't be a "US thing", it must for sure be anchored in western values, but not be subjected to any country's policy and/or interest.
Plus, the official decision that should have been more professional, was loaded with personal motivations as we could see by him writing about he being Finnish (despite the understandable historical background of it).
So, yeah, I wouldn't say a sad day for any Linux enthusiast, but for sure we read that with a bitter taste in our mouth.

Opa! Sim tem como interceptar com alguns hardwares para SDR (software-defined radio) mas como é um sinal de rádio o atacante precisa estar monitorando aquela faixa de frequência:

This topic is extremely important because we have countless cases of governments persecuting open source devs (Samourai Wallet) and demanding backdoors in cryptography and other privacy/security based solutions. There is also the case of backdoors on hardware, two recent cases are the Mossad attack on the Hezbollah terrorist group with pagers and the FBI phone company.

I think the war on privacy will naturally select people with a little bit more technical **comprehension** (not necessarily knowledge) from people that don't put the effort to learn it. I say that because if people understand the basics of how cryptography and protocols works, they can already judge good practices and learn to use some tools like XMPP and PGP clients (you don't need to be a developer to use it, just go a little bit beyond the basics).

Despite the woke bullshit, the first presentation of the Tor Project live event was pretty interesting.
One thing that came to my mind is that we need to focus more as #Bitcoin and #Nostr community in darkweb based solutions. If we focus in a darkweb ecosystem (closed network without exit points to the clear net) on top of I2P/Tor we are less vulnerable to governmental legal persecutions, since running a Tor exit node can be a legal headache:

Since the Enlightenment, science became a social institution, and as such it's subject to political disputes. Either locally among professors/researchers looking for grants or in a large scale when it comes to back with its authority social tendencies financed by groups in power.
The power over the printer often dictates everything else bellow it. My thought (or perhaps wishful thinking) is that when we decentralize financial power and give back to individuals its sovereignty, we consequently breaks the power of some institutions. However, in order to dilute the academic power in a productive and responsible way, we must bring a decentralized alternative, which I call **Digital Guilds**.
The main obstacle towards this decentralization of methodological knowledge inquiry is the mental model of the Bitcoin enthusiasts. A decentralized P2P or federated protocol is meant to bring the freedom of disassociation, not the abolishment of any sort of association. It's the end of coercion from a centralized power, but not the end of spontaneous and voluntary association under a power.
In my opinion the emergency of Bitcoin and Nostr are just the first steps, everything else built on top of it will be a laborious intellectual and cultural project for generations.
Anyway, I might need to elaborate this thought in an article, I just wanted to share this old thought of mine.

Plus, you are just preparing yourself for extreme situations like natural disasters (such as what we saw in Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil and Florida now) and some global supply chain disruption in case of a massive attack against Iran's oil fields or a conflict in Taiwan/South China Sea.
Being ready is never a bad idea. Take care #nostriches and don't feed fear or desperation in your mind while learning/building it, life is beautiful and there will always be nice places on this planet to be, you are just taking care of you and your loved ones.
