OK, does anyone else get freaked that PMs show up in the regular feed? I freak every time and am like, AHHHHHHHHHH I PUBLISHED IT, oh wait, it's missing the boost box, whew, it's OK. *stops sweating*
And yeah, I know, don't share private info because unencrypted, etc, but that doesn't mean I want to go wide with my dog's poop anecdotes.

@npub14n5…vyxp It was actually so picturesque here on day one of the snow. EVERYTHING closed and there was essentially a winter block party right outside my flat. Beer in the snow, people skiiing and snowboarding in the street. Their joy nourished my withered crone heart. ❤️

So, without posting a lot of personal details, my life exploded in a huge way in October. Consequently, I'm now living in the PNW. Locals, tell me what I can expect. I'm loving it so far! Mountains + ocean + raccoons trying to burgle my patio door and deer in the yard!
Conceivably I can see more humans and sign more books, if the viral load ever lets up. It's maddening that this is the worst it's been since lockdown and I'm the ONLY ONE in a store with a mask like 98% of the time.

Also, it's not that I'm dismissing online stalking, which is absolute a thing, but I really don't feel that reading someone's feed or looking at their pictures (without making contact or trying to self-insert into their circle repeatedly) qualifies.

@npub14n5…vyxp And I also think that's using the word stalker too lightly.
I was stalked by an ex. I'd find him outside my apartment at 2AM. Just sitting in the parking lot. He'd be there when I came home from a late shift.
He'd park in the lot where I worked. He destroyed furniture to prove how much he "loved" me.
And the cops said they couldn't do anything unless he hurt me. So yeah. My perceptions of what it is to stalk someone are quite different.

@npub14n5…vyxp WOOHOO! I'm so glad you liked it.
Some readers are saying Eli is a stalker because he looked at Iris's socials once a month.
But honestly, in that situation, then I'm a stalker too. Because I've looked up people I went to school with. (Not every month, but he sort of idolized her. So for him, it was almost like a celebrity crush.)

If you wondered what kind of day I'm having, I got snitch tagged in a bad review and the garbage disposal just randomly fell out of the kitchen sink.
