I'm using a self-hosted version but pretty sure it's up-to-date.
I see a "reaction" button instead of a like/dislike. Check under Settings, you should have Quick Reactions, and you can edit these. It's possible the Like/Dislike are just your preset ones.
I'm sure there's some client-side limitations, but across noStrudel , Amethyst and 0xchat, all reactions show as expected.

It's like a frickin' epidemic these days.
Seeing all the monero peeps out these days is just so par for the course - Limitations of Bitcoin are vocalized and suddenly someone has ALL the solutions at the settlement layer with no trade-offs. It's PERFECT! And yet....
It's not as decentralized - You can't recreate Bitcoin's level of decentralization.
It's not as secure - You don't have as much energy backing it.
XMR makes a ton of elements confidential to provide privacy, but security through obscurity isn't security at all.
And with that, you've lost your entire foundation with which to build upon.
Best be aware of Bitcoin's limitations (by design), understand them, and build from there.
For a moment, think about how ironic it is that Monero users are taking sats over lightning.

What about Family Share is broken?
The new version which is pretty much a complete revamp of it is still in Beta - Were you on stable? Or did you use the Beta with family sharing? Or tried both?
Also, personal view here, I don't find Ubuntu a very good system if you're gaming, it has a slower release cycle and older packages. For gaming you want bleeding-edge for a better experience. BlendOS would almost fit the mark, but I find it's trying to be a little too much, and ends up being too experimental and not what I'd recommend for daily use. Nobara is nice middle-ground, but interestingly, I've heard friends not be able get it going.
I'd really keep it simple in this case, and just go with vanilla Arch (get the ISO and run 'archinstall', it's a script that walks you through the install) and after that, look up GloriousEggRoll's (Nobara Dev) "How to get out of wine dependency hell" article for 2 commands that get you up and ready for pretty much anything. Update it once a week, and you'll be gold (Been running on the same install for over 3 years. No issues to report, however, worth mentioning Arch has some of the BEST documentation in the Linux scape and should definitely be referenced).
Don't give up on it, your son will thank you 😉

Yep, I have an LND node as well, which is my main node. Even opened a channel between both - LND can send to CLN, but not viceversa.

Accodiing to NIP-57 (the implementation of zaps), notes/events include payment related tags, of which include the amount, lnurl and also relays. My understanding is if a payment is received on that address (unique to the post), it is known by the relays included.
I can't see any zaps on these posts from you, but I did receive it - Did you zap a specific post or my profile? If it was a post, can you link it?

I believe it may dependent on what relays are aware that the zap happened, I've had the same issue before. Unsure on the exact fix.
Make sure you have a healthy number of relays, both big(for content discovery and indexing) and small (to help them grow), I've done the same and have seen a drastic improvement in zap/reaction awareness and content regardless of which client I use at any given time.

No, there's no need.
On Amber, click Add App. Give it a name, such as "noStrudel @ computer".
It'll copy a link to your clipboard (essentially your npub @ relay).
Input that link into noStrudel's Nostr "Connect/Bunker" sign-in option, under advanced.
And you should get a notification on Amber to allow login.
If the notification doesn't come through, go to Amber's settings and try direct connection. I have ntfy installed and working but Amber notifications aren't working through it for some reason, but direct connection works flawlessly.

That's right.
I suppose given the login URL that Amber generates is your npub along with a Bunker nsec relay, it uses the two, so when noStrudel needs to sign something, it calls Amber on Android via the relay+npub, and Amber notifies you to allow/disallow as/when required.

There are both web and mobile native client alternatives to Primal that are pretty feature-packed and don't do KYC. I've tried Primal in the past, and understand that the overall UX is pretty tight, but I can't see a reason to not use others - Especially when there are so many things Primal just does wrong (no nsec/bunker signing, KYC wallet, no logout option, etc) . Snort, Amethyst, noStrudel, Iris, Coracle, etc are some alternatives.

Up until now I've been running lnd yes, but plan on switching it up to Core Lightning going forward.

Bitcoin withstands nation state attacks and the monero shitcoiners come out of hiding in full force spelling doom. Shitcoins haven't withstood a single proper attack, but they're sworn by anyway.

Sure, but Samourai didn't offer copyright content, NOR did it facilitate the transmission of money, according to most "US authorities" - Just that one whose entire case hinges on Bitcoin being money WHILE at the same time attempting to not contradict all "authorities" that say it isn't.
That's the gist, but I don't think Samourai actually facilitated anything other than matching peers to allow fields in a ledger to be updated with different private keys for access.
Yes, it's all semantics, but that's exactly why this entire case should force all those "authorities" to come out and state what they actually consider Bitcoin to be - It'll either not matter, or we'll just win quicker.

It's interesting - Every #Samourai user I know of, myself included, is unable to move on to another #wwallet.
Users who used Samourai's server and looking into regaining an anon set due to the potentially leaked xpubs, but are still looking to continue using Samourai by running their own dojo. Users who run their own #Dojo, like myself, are helping such users.
In summary, and truly saddening, after 15 years of #Bitcoin there is still no replacement for what #SamouraiWallet provides.

To be clear, I don't think Amethyst has the option to use a self-hosted ntfy server - I think it's setup exactly the same as Amber - Public ntfy.sh server, with a unique topic for the app instance.

Installed Orbot and enabled tor - No luck.
Tried force stopping and restarting Amber fresh, but nothing.
Also tried over VPN, and with a SOCKS5 proxy, no notifications.
I haven't actually seen Amber in action beyond local apps, so just to make sure I have the correct expectation with NIP-46 functionality:
I create a new app on Amber, take the ID, paste it on a web client that supports NIP46, receive a notification on Amber to sign event permissions for the client to access - Correct?
Either way, no notifications unfortunately.

That's right, no notifications for Amber. I can see the Amber background service, and I get notifications for Amethyst via ntfy, but the ntfy topic for amber has no notifications so far.
I tried every client in the awesone-nip46 list (thanks btw!), and they all end up "connecting" endlessly. However, Nostrnests returns "invalid address" and snort doesn't seem to have a nip-46 option (although I still tried to input it in the login field, but nothing happened (no feedback from login button).

Personally, I've attempted to orange-pill family for many years. I am now of two minds, one of which I'm certain will win in the end.
a) They were indoctrinated their whole life into believing they cannot live without government support. From then on, anything that detaches them from the government, such as money, becomes a tribulation. Their idea of freedoms is true, justified, and realized, but ultimately limited, and hence, immediately incorrect to us who see beyond the lie, beyond the Matrix.
b) Wait. Wait for things to worsen, because they will. Personally over the years I've accrued as much bitcoin as I can, mainly thinking about myself and my immediate family, but also thinking about my parents and siblings if the need arises. And when the time comes, either one is able to offer a hand, or they're simply not, and that is the way of life. I imagine many people saw themselves in similar shows when previous currencies were debased. Navigate it the best you can.

To clarify, Jade is a hardware wallet, but it also has a software app that pairs with the hardware.
Right now fees on the main chain are very high due to Ordinals. However, the good side of this is that by necessity it'll force accelerated development of the Lightning eco-system (it's the only reason why Liquid suddenly came into play. Liquid has been around for years now, but was ignored by most), as well as other Layer 2 solutions such as Ark, as well as other Layer 1 developments such as Covenants.
It's just not a great time to transact on the main-chain, and hence, cold storage is affected. There are theories that the main chain will never see cheap fees again, which could be true, in which case cold storage will need to happen in Layer 2 implementations such as Liquid, or with other developments that are on the way. For now though, best thing is to wait it out as best as possible. You may not realise, but we're going through a bit of a storm :D

I may have misunderstood.
If you're talking about cold-storing sats as lightning, then not possible/feasible at this time.
If you're talking about swapping lightning sats to Bitcoin on-chain, then that's just the case of a wallet integrating, for example, Boltz's API.
One that's done this I believe is Breez.
That being said, for the time being you could use the WebApp - Generate a Bitcoin address from your Jade, and input it as the destination for the Boltz swap. But yes, the Jade Software app would need to integrate Boltz's API.
Regarding Boltz, careful with the fees. It seems they're doing a double on-chain TX, not sure why, but ends up being quite expensive. Still trying to figure out what I'm missing there.
Also, I know you mention boltz as an example, but there aren't many trustworthy services that do this yet, especially with lightning. Some of the others that do this delve too much into shitcoinery, and from what I've seen Boltz is recent but their API is comprehensive and approachable. So quite possibly, in a few months, we might see a lot more integration.

Not to my knowledge, but there's good reason for this.
Make sure to DYOR though after reading the below.
Liquid assets are stable and harder, in the sense that they get added to a ledger, not unlike L1 Bitcoin.
Lightning is different. It's has superior decentralisation, but due to the nature of how LN channels work, you can't have cold storage. Channels are always at the mercy of both ends. Even if I'm looking to maintain a channel active forever, the other end may not (not to mention, you should settle on-chain at some point anyway).
Worth noting,
Jade as a hardware wallet is made by Blockstream.
Blockstream made Liquid.
Liquid is federated.
While you may hold your own Liquid assets, the federation is highly centralised (about 16 entities I believe), hence it's easier to organise such things like an 'L2 cold storage'.

The idea is that you never trade with the same person/entity twice, and you do so via means that obfuscate as much of your information as possible.
Example, you may hate paypal, or revolut, etc but the only thing the person at the other end gets is a username.
Meanwhile paypal or revolut have no clue what the TX was about.

I suppose my issue with CEXs is that sooner or later, they all get targetted for regulation and they keep information from their customers so the fiat link is easy to make.
Example, if you pay with a bank, they have that info.
From the get-go I got myself used to using DEXs so no KYC coins. Just hope it doesn't come back to bite people in the ass :)
Be sure to whirlpool those coins at least, then you can say you lost it in a boating accident ;)

What's happened is, Samourai got caught in the middle of a fight against Ordinals - Ordinals exploit the protocol to be able to inject higher size TXs. Whirlpool does something similar, in the name of privacy (for its coinjoin implementation). That's the difference, and right now I personally feel the rest is mainly noise. Excited to see how it develops for all fronts to hopefully improve and evolve.

A lot of the following will, at this point in time, be mainly hypothetical, however, one thing is certain: Your UTXOs will be inherently linked to your meatspace identity.
Further, given the transparent nature of the timechain, you're creating an immutable link between your identity in a fiat world, now, and your Bitcoin position in the future.
When HyperBitcoinization comes to pass, you may be affected - Governments and platforms may censor your purchases - Even if you move to another wallet.
Your UTXOs are tainted and any UTXOs from certain addresses or that have passed through certain addresses may be refused, depending how address-depth sensitive.
Essentially anyone gaining Bitcoin via a KYC method now, *may* be doxxing their future selves.
