Say I have a server at some IP (e.g. myfile.com).
If I have a machine on the same network (as the server) and I try to download a file from it using myfile.com the download speed is slow, however if I try to download from the local IP for said machine, it's super fast.
Why is that?
myfile.com would resolve to the router's IP, and then I would expect the router to port forward 80 -> local IP address
Is the file being uploaded to some server somewhere and then re-downloaded to my machine?

Spent my weekend losing my mind debugging why a usb driver + client app I wrote kept resetting sporadically.
Checked everything from libusb to sample rates to swift concurrency / dispatch source issues. Redid my packet parsing / sending logic twice, only to ultimately discover the cable was faulty -_-

The one thing that's driving me insane with iOS 18 right now is how it doesn't respect SpringBoard's settings for icon tint styles.
If I specify "Light" icon styles on SpringBoard, but use "Dark" as the OS tintcoloursngs will display all the icons as their dark variants instead of respecting how SpringBoard renders the icons. What's even worse is Search on SpringBoard does the same thing.
This makes it difficult to find apps I want since I don't recognize any of the colours :(
