Now I'm just a ball of fucking anger.
My wife is too unwell to work, but not eligible for DSP because Centrelink thinks that she's well enough to use what little energy she has applying for jobs that she'll never get (because she has an autoimmune disease that makes her too unwell to work.)
We arranged authorisation for me to make enquiries on her account and fix things like *this* that she doesn't have the energy for.
Which means we've been skipping the "add voiceprint" functionality, because both of us call.
I called 136 150 again this morning. It's now *insisting* that we need to add a voiceprint.
So the system is even more Kafkaesque, with an added layer of cruelty, that forces someone who's unwell to spend what energy they have repeatedly calling and jumping through hoops on the phone tree until it tells you there's no-one to talk to and hangs up on you.

Holy shit. I can't believe that Centrelink could make the phone experience any worse, and yet they fucking have.
There's an issue with the Centrelink app reporting on my wife's account I haven't submitted my tax return for 22/23.
Which I did, and got a refund to boot.
Can't be fixed through the app. No appropriate option in the phone tree.
When you ask for an operator, they tell you there are no operators available, and "Please update your information through the self-service Centrelinkk app. Good bye."
The kicker is when you call back... no phone tree, just "We understand that you want to speak to an operator. There is no-one available to take your call. Please update your information through the self-service Centrelink app. Good bye."
Way to fucking hit your "calls answered" KPIs, without actually answering calls.

A couple of months ago I went to the little cafe downstairs and asked them for something gluten free. The only thing they had was this plastic container full of plain chicken, broccoli florets, and pieces of carrot.
I was starving, and didn't have another option in the time frame, so I just accepted that I'd be eating something different & bland that I would never eat again.
Damn if it isn't just the tastiest little thing I would happily eat every day. It's drenched in lemon juice and herbs, and it's healthy AF.

What’ll really bake your noodle is when you realise how much DARVO is not just weaponised by angry men, but it’s been built into the structure of society.
It’s not that corporations spent decades colluding to bury the evidence of climate change, it’s that you don’t recycle enough.
It’s not that companies have repeatedly cut corners & staff to increase profits, and C-suite salaries, it’s that you don’t work hard enough to justify a salary increase.
It’s not that governments have collectively and consistently preferenced the wealthy landlord “investor” class in their policies and made housing precarious and unaffordable, it’s that you ate too much avocado toast.
It’s not that the economy is structured around having a permanently unemployed pool of people, it’s that people are lazy just don’t want to work.
