PROTIP: It brightens most truckers' day when you pump your arm at them for a horn toot.
(Don't feel bad if we don't toot though, because sometimes it's just not safe to do it.)
Also if you're on the road and notice a stack of 3 or more horns behind or under the cab, THOSE are the best ones to arm pump, cause they've got train horns to play with! :D

@npub1vy9…7wtc there are also patches and injections for estradiol. I'm on the patches, cause I'm not great with pills or injections.
Spironolactone, the most common androgen blocker has some pretty difficult pills to swallow (for me at least,) but there are also other possibly better options there. Bicalutamide has some tiny pills and is really effective.

Crap. I missed that black Friday deal on AR lowers at the local hunting store. Never built a rifle before and figured it could be the beginning of my heavily armed trans girl stage.
Though "assault rifles" never really appealed to me. I had an AR a long time ago when I was a misguided and confused center-right dweeb but never got the hype so I sold it.
Now I just like shotguns. Pistols are more of a necessary evil to me. Not a huge fan, but I can't conceal a 12ga (comfortably) so I have a few.
Gotta have at least one. Ohio is the old west now and all the cowpolk are carrying.

@npub1vy9…7wtc you can either go the trans therapist route, where you chat with them for a few months and they give you a letter to take to your doctor, or you can find an Informed Consent clinic where there are no hoops to jump through. There you basically get a blood test, then they give you your prescription.
In my case, I did a little therapy, then just went with informed consent, since my primary care happens to be one.

Also do you have any hobbies you can make money with? Might be able to do that as a side gig to save up money to bail on your town, or possibly even support yourself on.
(these are my own plans for the near future, since I can't stand my own town and career.)
As for the friends part... I fully understand that feeling. All the really cool people always seem to live hours away.

Cozy in my nest, lieing slightly on my left side, left foreleg fully extended, head resting on that leg's upper half with my right foretalons tucked under my beak.
